All I have to say to Facebook is Promote This, Dummies! I’m not going to pay you to let people know I am still here! I am shocked, outraged, confused and a little ticked! I’m sure you heard the recent threat that Facebook would be “allowing” us to show our posts to our OWN fans by paying Facebook a fee. I’m here to say its true! Today the promote button showed it’s ugly, money sucking face! The scam goes like this: To show your post to a percentage of your current fans you can pay $5. To show your post to even more of your current fans you can pay $10.

SHOCKED!
So I get my clients, fans, friends & family and THEN I have to pay so they can see what I’m up to?! Nope, not gonna happen.
OUTRAGED!
So you don’t get enough money from adverts and other types of advertising, you now have to go after our posted thoughts too?!
CONFUSED!
I thought this was free social networking and any funds came from those that wanted to plaster ads!
A little EXTREMELY TICKED OFF!
So here I build my own community, promote Facebook on my own blogs & websites, make them as popular as they have become, put billions into their pocket and now you want me pay you?! I didn’t do it single-handedly, they don’t need to thank me personally but WE ARE THE ONES WHO MADE THEM FAMOUS! If no one used their FREE social networking they would be sitting in a cubicle wishing they could find the next “Get Rich Quick Scheme”.
So what do we do?! Tweet! Twitter brings a lot of awareness. Using your # tag will produce a trend and that’s what we want to do. Reach out to the #Facebook word and say Hell No, Not Gonna Happen!

Your posts do not go to your entire fan base until you PAY to play. Your posts only go to a small fraction, like 16% if you’re lucky. You have to pay to reach more than that. Again this is for your own fan base. This isn’t for people outside. Which is what is so disgusting!
